Can Genorbex scan both my application URL and GitHub repository?+
Yes. Provide a deployed application URL and a repository URL in the same request, or configure them in the vulnerability dashboard. Genorbex will combine application coverage, repository evidence, scanner results, and remediation priorities into one assessment.
Does active DAST require authorization?+
Yes. Genorbex only runs Level 2 active DAST when the user explicitly authorizes the scan scope, target URL, and testing window. Without authorization, it reports readiness requirements instead of sending active probes.
What happens if I provide a GitHub repository URL instead of a live app URL?+
Genorbex detects repository URLs and treats them as source-code targets, not deployed application targets. It will ask you to connect GitHub or upload source code for Level 3 coverage, and it will request a live application URL for Level 1 and Level 2 testing.
What security tools can Genorbex use?+
Genorbex can orchestrate scanners such as Semgrep, npm audit, Trivy, Gitleaks, OWASP ZAP-style DAST, dependency analysis, and cloud or container review where the required worker runtime, credentials, and scope are available.
Will the report show exact files and affected lines?+
When scanner evidence includes file paths and line numbers, Genorbex links each repository finding back to the affected code location and includes the exact source file, line, severity, evidence, confidence, and remediation guidance.
Can vulnerability assessments be scheduled?+
Yes. The vulnerability dashboard lets teams configure one or more application and repository targets, run scans on demand, or schedule recurring assessments based on a selected frequency or repository update workflow.
